Our school system is the biggest employer in our county and serves more than 13,500 students. Ensuring that everyone in our schools has their needs met in this way touches a significant swath of our community. Raising the next generation to be aware of the interconnectedness of our world and the role we all play individually and as part of a community helps set our society up for success in a world already inheriting substantial environmental challenges.
